Paris and Paris have called it quits.

The celebutante-turned-model broke off the wedding plans with Paris Latsis, according to a report posted Friday on Us Weekly's Web site, which quoted a statement it said Hilton released to the magazine.

"I'm sad to announce that I've called off my engagement. Over the last couple months I've realized that this is the right decision for me. We remain best of friends, and I'll always love him. I hope people will respect my privacy during this emotional time,'' Hilton told the magazine.

Elle MacPherson Pulls Out of Fur Ads!

Australian beauty Elle MacPherson has pulled out of a $1.8 million deal with a luxury fur company because she is terrified of becoming a target for animal rights campaigners.

Supermodel MacPherson had signed a seven-figure deal with Blackglama, but was shocked when she received a threatening letter from People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals.

The letter said: "By making yourself the new face of fur for Blackglama you are also making yourself a top target for PETA and animal activists around the world. When you make money from such a violent industry, you also must carry their baggage."

A close friend of MacPherson tells British newspaper the Daily Express, "Elle has never seen anything ethically wrong with wearing fur ... but in the wake of recent developments against the fur industry from militant protesters and animal rights activists, she felt that no amount of money was worth jeopardizing the safety of herself or her family, and she'd rather the ads were pulled."

MacPherson's lawyers are currently in talks with Blackglama, who insist the shots of the model, wearing a selection of mink jackets, will still be published.

Tara Reid is Freaking Out

Blonde bombshell Tara Reid is close to breaking point after new TV show, "Taradise," was axed by producers and other offers of work have been withdrawn.

The "American Pie" star is distraught at the decision and has fired her publicist, who Reid believes cultivated the drunken party-girl reputation she has been labeled with.

In an interview with Chaunce Hayden of Steppin' Out magazine she was visibly strained and emotional.

Page Six reports her voice was cracked as she asked the journalist, "How many more years are the media going to pick on me? There's other new, young, bad girls. Move on to someone else!
"I'm just fed up. I just want a chance again. I want to show that I am an actress."

The struggling star also vigorously denied reports she has a drinking problem, which has been blamed for her recent weight increase.

She says, "People think I am just a party girl, and it's bull. I wish the media would just tell the truth.

"I didn't want to look like a total party-girl drug retard. I'm not a drunk. ... I don't have a drinking problem. I don't have a drug problem, for sure."

Trump Expecting Child

NEW YORK (CNN/Money) - Donald Trump, father of four, is expecting a fifth child in the spring with wife Melania Knauss, Trump's spokeswoman said on Tuesday.

The 59-year-old real estate developer has three children with Ivana Trump: Donald Jr., 27; Ivanka, 23 and Eric, 21. He has a daughter, Tiffany, 11, with Marla Maples.

Trump married Knauss, 35, a Slovenian model, in a lavish ceremony in Florida in January attended by a host of celebrities from former New York mayor Rudy Giuliani to singer Billy Joel and journalist Katie Couric.

The child will be Melania's first.
