Elizabeth Hurley: The new face of Jordache jeans

Iconic 1970s denim company Jordache has tapped "Austin Powers" star Liz Hurley for its Fall 2006 ad campaign, which will appear in national magazines beginning with September issues.

The ads feature Hurley, clad in Jordache's high-end Vintage line and the brand new, lower-priced Legacy line, posing with big, windblown '80s-style hair beside a horse or brandishing a riding crop - both a nod to Jordache's famous equine logo.

"I was thrilled as I've always thought it would be cool to do a jeans campaign," Hurley said via a spokesperson. "My mum bought me my first pair of Jordache jeans in the 1980s - they were skinny legged and I thought they were amazing."
