ARE you really a rock star if nobody wants to see you? That’s a good question for Sir Bob Geldof, who refused to perform in Milan, Italy, last week after only 45 people bought tickets to his concert in a 12,000-seat stadium.
The few fans who did show were angry at the “Live Aid” organizer and Boomtown Rats frontman, telling him they’d “come a long way to hear you.” “I’ve come a long way, too. I’ve just come from South Africa - it took me 48 hours to get here,” a ruffled Geldof snapped back, the London Times reports.
