Actor Alec Baldwin will return to court to continue his bitter custody battle with ex-wife Kim Basinger, whom he has accused of structuring her diary to obstruct his visits.
The star is fighting for an enforcement of a court order granting him "make-up time" for visitation days he has lost while starring in theater hit "Entertaining Mr. Sloane."
The show, which closes later this month, has left Baldwin hardly any time to spend with 10-year-old daughter Ireland, and now the actor is desperate to compensate.
Although he is entitled to extra visits, Baldwin insists his wife of nine years is making it difficult for him to set dates.
He tells Page Six, "It never ends. You'll go to court and get a court order, but then you have to go to court again to enforce the order."
A friend adds, "He gets just Mondays off, so he goes to Los Angeles literally for the day, takes his daughter to school, sees her at lunch and then flies back."
Baldwin has already spent $1.25 million in legal fees and the drawn-out custody battle has prompted him to write a book about divorce procedure.
