Teri Hatcher dumped Ryan Seacrest

Teri Hatcher has been dumped by boyfriend Ryan Seacrest - by phone.

The 'Desperate Housewives' star says the 'American Idol' host called it off after they were snapped kissing and cuddling on only their third date, back in March.

The actress told US talk show host Oprah Winfrey: "I haven't seen him since that day.

"He called me and said, 'I don't think I can do this with you'."

Hatcher says she has no idea why the TV presenter ended things.

She revealed: "I don't know. I ate too much lobster? You'd have to ask him."

The divorced actress also told Oprah how she was previously stuck in a sexless marriage with actor Jon Tenney.

Hatcher confessed: "I can pinpoint the day that we conceived our daughter, Emerson Rose. That was the only time we had sex that year."

The actress also revealed that she is eager to find a partner - but it has to be the right person.

She said: "I really want to find somebody that I can trust and go deep with, and have wild crazy sex with."

However, that man won't be George Clooney, despite them going on a dinner date.

Hatcher insisted: "That was really fabricated.

"We went to one dinner back in December, and that was it. No kissing."
