D-12 rapper Swift has been jailed for probation violation after skipping a court hearing to attend the funeral of bandmate Proof earlier this week.
An arrest warrant for the rap star -- real name Ondre Moore -- was issued after he failed to show up in court, and Swift was arrested Thursday in Novi, Mich.
District Court Judge Brian MacKenzie sentenced Moore to 93 days in jail for violating terms of his probation in a drunk-driving case.
Moore, 31, tested positive for alcohol despite a condition of his probation that he remain free of alcohol or drugs following a guilty plea he accepted last October for drunk driving.
In court in October, the rapper failed a court drug test and was jailed for two days.
The rapper attempted to explain that he was forced to miss the court hearing after being asked to be a pallbearer at his friend's funeral in Detroit, Mich., but the judge refused to be swayed by the circumstances behind his decision to stay away from court.
