ET has confirmed that Leonardo DiCaprio was flown from the Mozambique location of his latest movie to a nearby South African hospital to receive medical attention on Friday. Although the nature of the emergency was not revealed, the actor’s rep told ET that Leo is okay and back at work.
According to a Johannesburg newspaper, Leo had been injured while filming 'The Blood Diamond,' in which he stars opposite Oscar® winner Jennifer Connolly. He arrived at the hospital in Nelspruit, near the Kruger National Park, to get X-ray scans. He consulted a doctor for about two hours and then left, most likely to fly back to Mozambique. The actor was reportedly accompanied by an entourage of bodyguards during his visit.
