Update:
TMZ has learned that "Prison Break" star Lane Garrison has hired powerhouse defense attorney Harland Braun in connection with last Saturday's fatal car accident.
Lane was at the wheel in his Land Rover on Saturday night when it crossed a median in Beverly Hills and crashed into a tree. A 17-year-old boy sitting in the backseat was killed and two 15-year-olds were injured. Braun tells TMZ that Garrison had never met the three teenagers before the night of the accident. Braun says Garrison was at a local supermarket earlier in the evening when the trio recognized him in the checkout line and asked him if he wanted to go to a party. Braun says Garrison went to the party and had one drink. Braun says Garrison also had one margarita at a Mexican restaurant that night, but that was the extent of his alcohol consumption. Braun tells TMZ that as Garrison was leaving the party to meet a woman at his apartment, the three teens asked to accompany him. According to sources, the boy was an only child and was extremely well liked by his peers.
Braun says Garrison has no recollection of the accident, which Braun says rendered him unconscious. In fact, Braun claims Garrison's first memory was waking up at the Century City Hospital emergency room with a taxi coupon on his lap that had been given to him by hospital staff so he could get home. Braun says he was not told by hospital personnel that someone had died. He learned of the death later from a friend, Braun says, and was "totally despondent."
Braun says a sample of Garrison's blood was taken at the hospital, but it could take several weeks before the results are in. Braun says he doubts Garrison was intoxicated, but also says, "Who knows if someone put something in his drink at the party."
Braun also says Garrison's Land Rover had been experiencing alignment issues as of late and had been pulling to one side, and added that the SUV had brake problems. Braun says he is forwarding repair receipts to the police.
According to Braun, "Nobody knows what happened, it's a mystery."

My dear, you have to become a man and face it ... with or without a lawyer !
My kid nor her friends will ever forget you !! Good luck with all the lies........
the truth shall prevail...
ReplyDeleteour anger will not only be helpful to defense - lawyer... that is their tactic.
let's try to stay cool and let authorities to do the job... Beverly Hills PD cherry picks their officers, detectives, and so on...
let's give them the support - allow them to do the job for the justice for all...
our children needs "YOU - US" to be with them... we need to keep our tranquility to give them the support of what they are going through...
V loved people, loved his enemies as well as his friends... he is a wonderful kid... we miss him - and we love him... thanks for being who you are and we know you are still with us... love you.
LANE GARRISON IS A FUCKING MURDER AND SHOULD BE SEVERLY PUNISHED FOR WHAT HE DID. HE WAS SEEN DRINKING AT THAT PARTY HE WAS INTOXICATED BEYOND BELIEF, HE HAD NO BUSINESS WITH 3 TEENAGE KIDS. HIS ACTIONS ARE COMPLETELY REVOLTING, HOW DARE HE PUT THE LIVES OF THREE INNOCENT KIDS AT RISK. HIS DISGUSTINGLY FOOLISH CHOICE COST V HIS LIFE. V WAS A BLESSING TO ALL OF US HERE ON EARTH, HIS LOSS WILL FOREVER HAVE AN IMPACT ON OUR LIVES. HE DIDNT DESERVE TO DIE HE WAS NOT AT FAULT IN ANYWAY, HE WAS ROBBED OF HIS EXISTANCE BY AN EVIL SOUL, LANE GARRISON. HOW FAST DID HE HAVE TO BE GOIN TO NOT BE ABLE TO CONTROL HIS CAR AFTER ONLY 30 SECONDS AFTER LEAVING THE SUPERMARKET PARKING LOT. PRETTY FUCKING FAST, WHAT A DRUNKEN ASSHOLE...HE WILL PAY, HE MUST, BUT REGARDLESS OF HIS FATE IN LIFE,WHEN HE DIES HE WILL BURN IN HELL FOREVER.LANE GARRISON YOU DONT STAND A CHANCE.NO FUCKING LAWYER IN THE WORLD CAN JUSTIFY YOUR ACTIONS. R.I.P V WE LOVE YOU AND YOU'LL ALWAYS REMAIN IN OUR HEARTS.
ReplyDeleteI realize all of us are angry, but the V I know, was never angry - despite the differences...
ReplyDeleteNo matter how angry we are... we can not forget our responsibilities to our children...
In respect to V - We should be strong for our children and give them the love V always talked about. V would love all his friends and people he touched to be happy and to live life to the fullest...
I lost my first love in a car crash - devastated.
I was angry, but somewhere in me... my love was telling me to live strong - live life to the fullest... and enjoy!
Feel what children are going through...
We need to take their hands and guide them through this tough time - to teach "hate" is not the solution, but...allow them to view the reality, the reality of life which came too soon...
Yesterday, the history –
Today, the reality –
Tomorrow, the dream –
On life –
Live and love to the fullest without regrets...
I pray for the victims... We need to teach them to be happy, to love and to live to the fullest/enjoy... but not war, not hate...
blood alcohol test will set him free then u can think accidents happen people die everyday its a part of life and think that he is in a better place so stop being so selfish and don't they have curfew laws in california for teenagers to be home before 12?
ReplyDeleteI know lane, he is very hurt about this, general society must remember one thing. The media LOVES to build people up....then tear them down. IF YOU READ CAREFULLY then you will see that all the information to be found is from the same two or three sources copied and pasted word for word on tons of sites. So what does that tell you? THERE ARE THREE people telling you "speculation". Nobody knows the facts yet. So quit being a damn internet bad ass and try to use reason instead of taking a couple peoples words for something and running with it.
ReplyDelete"LANE GARRISON IS A FUCKING MURDER"
ReplyDeleteOh please *rolls eyes* Lane planned the night from the beginning. He went to the supermarket looking for kids to kill. Moron. I guess the kids had no role in this? Perfect samaritans....underage drinking party in all. They are partly at fault to for commiting the crime of drinking and askin Lane to come into it too.
Lane is an upstanding guy. Not only did I go to school with him, but he's also my cousin. How dare you call him out like that. He is not "an evil soul" by any stretch of the imagination.
First off who are any of you to judge? People make stupid choices and Im sure that Lane will live with this every day of his life. What about all the sexual predators, and kidnappers that destroy peoples lifes everyday. But because this Man has a spotlight in hollywood you all want to bash and trash him? My heart and prayers go out to the young mans life who was taken but you cant sit here by any means and act as if these people had no part in this. Underage drinking? There all at fault. None of this was worth the life of a child But people let God do the Judging.
ReplyDeleteOK first of all there is a lot of Accusations going on! Lets get the results of the blood test and then we can make a decision.
ReplyDeleteSECOND OF ALL. TEENAGERS arent dumb! WHY GET IN THE CAR WITH SOMEONE WHO IS DRUNK? Call a friend, parent, or even a cab (Im sure your parent would pay rather than you going home with a drunk driver)
It was a mistake . we all make then unfortunately the consequences were unfortunate
you cant just blame lane for this, i mean, what were they doing geting into the car with him if they knew he was drunk? there are so many car crashes these days, why blame and get angry at just one? its not as if he crashed the car on purpose. a lot of people do stupid this by accident when they are drunk, so think you should stop blaming one, there are so many other crimnals out there.
ReplyDeletei just don't know why so many people out there are getting mad with him. who are you to judge him? betcha you wouldn't like it if you crashed a car and everybody got irritated with you. he's only human. it's not as if anybody can change what has happened. all of you are selfish bastards for judging him. just act like all normal people and get over it and live.
ReplyDeleteAre you playing stupid or what?? He had an accident! he didnt kill anyone. Who do you think you are to judge him?
ReplyDeleteAnd if is true that he was drunk...Oh please, Im 15 and i know perfectly that i shouldnt go into a car with a drunk person, and the teens should tell him, that dont take te car... "a killer.." what are you talking about??
Well, I hope all this have at less a good end. Good Luck Lane
P.D sorry if my english isnt very good, im from spain so...
Leave lane garrison alone everybody. He is not that stupid to put little kids in his car and kill them. If he did do that then obviously he would be locked up by now.
ReplyDeleteI felt very sad when he died in prison break. I couldnt even get no sleep I miss him ever so much
ReplyDeleteLane isn't completely to blame in all this. Im sorry but those kids got into that car, he didn't force them. A kid has died and just imagine how Lane feels, its most probably ruined his life. Non of this was done deliberately, just remember that.
ReplyDeleteBEVERLY HILLS, Calif. -- Lane Garrison was charged Thursday with manslaughter and drunken driving in a car crash that killed a 17-year-old boy last year. The 26-year-old "Prison Break" actor was charged with felony vehicular manslaughter while intoxicated, felony driving under the influence causing injury to multiple victims, felony driving with a blood-alcohol level above the .08 percent legal limit causing injury, and a misdemeanor count of furnishing alcohol to a minor.
ReplyDeleteIf convicted, Garrison could face up to six years and eight months in prison.
He was expected to surrender Thursday afternoon for arraignment at Beverly Hills Superior Court. Prosecutors will recommend that Garrison be held on $200,000 bail, said Jane Robison, a spokeswoman for the Los Angeles County district attorney's office.
Garrison, a Dallas native, was behind the wheel of a Land Rover that jumped a curb and struck a tree Dec. 2. The crash killed Beverly Hills High School student Vahaghn Setian and injured two 15-year-old girls who were also in the car.
Robison said Garrison is accused of supplying Setian with vodka.
Police said Garrison was found to have a blood-alcohol level of .20 percent and cocaine in his system.
Doesn't he look alot like Luka Magnotta?
ReplyDeleteSome times some accidents will remember as a mystery,in the same way your accident also resembles me.
