Former "Lost" star Michelle Rodriguez has been criticized by animal rights activists for having a white tiger cub at a New York party she hosted.
The actress took Skanda, a 9-week-old cub, to the fundraising event to raising money for a nature sanctuary.
But People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals is annoyed the singer took the endangered animal to a nightclub.
PETA spokesman Dan Mathews says, "These are wild animals, not party animals.
"We know Michelle Rodriguez is an animal lover, but I think she is unaware how infant animals need to be around their mother and not a clanging party scene.
"They're not meant to be an ornament at a party, even one that is designed to raise money for animals. It kind of defeats the purpose."
