Kylie Minogue praises boyfriend for support

Kylie Minogue has praised her boyfriend Olivier Martinez for his "amazing" support throughout her difficult times. The French "Unfaithful" actor has been by the pop star's side throughout her cancer battle following his diagnosis in May 2005.

Speaking to UK cable channel Sky One, Kylie says, "He is amazing - but he was particularly amazing throughout this last year. "He's a very, very solid character and that was just so helpful."

The helpful hunk even took her first photographs after losing her hair to chemotherapy, because Minogue was nervous about her return to the public eye.

She says, "Of course there was a price on my head at that time. Who's going to get a picture of her with the scarf coming off or something... but I just wanted to do it gently. I wasn't about looking perfect. "We just went out in the garden and he's like, 'Ok honey, stand there - stay there - go over there.' "

And then we went through the pictures and went 'Ok that one and that one'."
