One of the two men who allegedly tried to scam Jennifer Lopez into paying $1 million for her stolen wedding video pleaded guilty Wednesday to attempted grand larceny and will be sentenced to one-and-a-half to three years in prison, E! reports.
A laptop containing a video of Lopez and Marc Anthony’s June 2004 hush-hush wedding ceremony was sitting in Anthony’s Cadillac Escalade when the SUV was stolen in New Jersey last October.
Tito Moses, 31, admitted in court Wednesday that he and alleged partner Steven Wortman, 40, tried to orchestrate a million-dollar payoff from Lopez and Anthony via a man whom they thought worked for the couple. Of course, that man was an undercover detective and police pounced on Moses and Wortman when they showed up at a diner in December for the trade off.
