British supermodel Naomi Campbell is suing French cosmetic surgeon Dr. Jean-Louis Sebagh over his claims he gave her Botox injections.
London-based Dr. Sebagh, a pioneer of the wrinkle-smoothing treatment, made the claims in articles in British celebrity magazine Hello! in which Campbell appears to endorse his service.
Campbell refuses to confirm or deny she has undergone Botox injections, but is furious her name has been used to promote the surgeon.
She launched proceedings at London's High Court yesterday and is reportedly seeking a minimum of $87,000.
Gideon Benaim, a spokesperson for Campbell's lawyers, says, "Our client Miss Naomi Campbell does not endorse Dr. Sebagh's products."
In the past, the 35-year-old has denied using Botox. She said, "I don't need it because 'black don't crack.' My grandmother has fantastic genes and only about one wrinkle."
