Pete Doherty Busted For Drugs 2 Days After Leaving Rehab

Troubled British musician Pete Doherty has been arrested in London on suspicion of possessing crack cocaine.

The former Libertines singer, 26, and his musician friend Peter Wolf were stopped by police after driving "erratically" through west London in the early hours of Wednesday morning, only two days after Doherty returned from Arizona, where he had quit a drug rehabilitation clinic.

Officers brought Doherty to Ealing Broadway police station after finding a crack pipe in his pocket and three rocks of cocaine, reports Britain's the Sun.

A Metropolitan Police spokeswoman said: "At 12:10 a.m. on November 30 police stopped a car in Cleveland Road due to the erratic manner of its driving.

"Substances were recovered from the 26-year-old male driver and the vehicle. He was arrested for alleged possession of class A drugs. He was taken to a west London police station.

"He was later bailed to return in January 2006 pending further inquiries."
