LENNY Kravitz lost his charitable impulse — if he ever had one — when he learned that his face graced the invitation to a Rock the Rainforest Photography Auction at the Equinox Gym in South Beach the other night.
"He had his lawyers calling all day demanding to know why no one had gotten his permission," said a source. Maybe because no permission was needed.
In any case, no one bid on the Kravitz photo (taken by Paper magazine snapper Caroline Totem Craig) except for bargain-hunting Patrick McMullan, who snapped it up for just $110. The event — which also featured prints by Peter Beard, Roxanne Lowitt, Sante D'Orazio and Gilles Bensimon — raised more than $30,000 for the Rainforest Foundation.
