Britney Spears and husband Kevin Federline officially have announced the birth of their first son together on the pop star's Web site.The proud parents have expressed their happiness with a picture of them kissing against a backdrop of blue balloons and a heartfelt message thanking loyal fans for all their support.
Spears writes, "We are ecstatic to announce the birth of our son!
"Everyone is happy, healthy and doing wonderful. Thank you for all your love and well wishes!!"
Spears and Federline welcomed their son, reportedly named Preston Michael Spears Federline, into the world Wednesday afternoon when the singer underwent a Caesarian section at California's Santa Monica UCLA Medical Center.

Looks more like an engagement photo than a birth announcement photo. I'd have to agree with the other comment that you would normally have the baby's photo.
